BUILDING EXPANSION
Robert Beers of Beers and Hoffman, the architect working with our building expansion committee, made an informative presentation to a well attended parish gathering following the 10 am service on January 27. Ample time was given for questions and suggestions and sketches of the presently proposed plans were distributed. Copies of a summary of questions and thoughts expressed may be obtained from the church office
The committee next met with Bob Beers and three of the contractors who had been contacted and responded for interviews. The committee's unanimous first choice is now being followed up with reference contacts and the committee's questions. The selected firm will then be part of a design/build approach with the project.
A meeting will take place with the vestry and trustees of the diocese to review how we might finance the desired construction.
Minor changes will be made from the plan shown below in order to comply with the limitations on square footage and required setbacks from the property lines.
